Juke Box Days

Jukebox Days from Screen memories, uses popular music from the Fifties, Sixties and Seventies to help trigger memories by linking the music of the era to the events, fashions, lifestyles and personalities of the times.

We have developed several programmes based on a specific year, in conjunction with colleagues in the United States. The common experiences of the pop charts on both sides of the Atlantic has made for some fascinating comparisons and contrasts of what were the formative teenage years for the people in our groups. The groups are able to sing-a-long with the on-screen lyrics and we are starting to cater for those whose first language is not English.
